Up early, got nice mini van with the same couple from tour yesterday. Lots of room. Cool ride. Stopped for change over of van for an hour. No decent food, so had a lunch of crisps and biscuits. Arrived. Waited for ages for boat, got involved in some food fiasco where it took far too long, so we just had to leave money on table and run to boat, but then boat didn't come, and she chased us with food, and we didn't have time/the desire to eat it.
Took the awesome fast boat to our island resort, a very nice bungalow room, though I'm sharing with Ad in a double bed. Went to the dive shop to sort ourselves otu, and I got roped into doing an Advanced Course. Rex was also conned into lots of dives but less qualifications. The resort/island is muchos nice, and the dive people are very cool/professional so we happily signed every human right away. Got huge book and lots of homework to do, so this is how learning to dive is meant to be... While chilling with rex outside, a gecko leaped from a great height, rex headbutted it onto my chest, where it sat for a while, and rex was like "take it off or it'll go in my pocket". After this it promptly dived into my pocket and hid behind my wallet, then after wallet extraction, it hid in the creases in my pocket, until eventually leaping to my hand and then the floor to my surprise.
For din din we had a slightly overpriced (in hindsight) bbq, but was all you can eat, which I hear is good. In the evening had to read loads and do questions. Ad also has homework with open water course, though his buddies aren't here yet.
